Cincy for the weekend!

Psst! Quick quick post, since I'm up past my bedtime.

In Cincy, visiting family and friends until Sunday. Jonboy is still at home, but he'll be coming into town Friday after work to go to the Reds v. Indians game (GO REDLEGS!) and to hang out till Sunday (I'm introducing him to Montgomery Inn, a Cincinnati favorite). Today was a "rest" day according to the plan and so I did just that: hung out with my padre and then lounged around with my BFF from high school (Chris), ate some seafood with my mom, and drank my favorite wine. Fabulous.

That said, I'm kind of nervous about tomorrow's run... It's a 5-mile "tempo" run and I haven't run more than 40 minutes since May (and the last time I did that was over a week ago). We'll see how it goes!

On that note, I leave you with the only documentation of today's car ride (taken at a red light, I promise):

Take 1 (Kelly @ FittingBackIn, I thought you'd appreciate her stylish pink Auburn collar... She has a pink collar, and my mother still refers to her as "him"...What gives?!)

Take 2. Isn't she the cutest puppy around? Then again, I'm a bit biased.

Okay, bedtime! Wish me luck for tomorrow!

How was your run? I did six miles this morning, and it felt great!

This next part is going to make me sound like a creeper. So, I've been a lurker on your blog for a few weeks, and I figured I'd start following after I saw you out walking today. My son and I were on our way back from the park when we saw you walking and talking on your phone. :) I live with my mom in your mom's neighborhood, and we actually used to hang out like a decade ago.

Anyway, good luck with your running! You should totally sign up for the Air Force half. I'm running that in September and then the Cincinnati Half Marathon in October.

Oh no! You probably saw me fighting with my dad on my phone... Classy, Nicky, classy. Oops. Yeah, that was pre-run. Just to check, Christina as in lives in the same house as me on the same street, Christina? Awesome! I'm home till Sunday if you want to get together and catch up or run or something :)

Anyways, glad you found me on here! I'm about to update about the run :)

Yep, same house, same street! Haha, it would be fun to get together and catch up. It really has been FOREVER. I looked at your running schedule... Will Sunday's six miles be your next run?

Hi! Saw you posted on my blog and of course I had to check out yours! So you are moving abroad?! Which part? This post interested me because I live near Cincy, about 1.5 hours away on the Indiana side and have contemplated going to grad school there!
Good luck on your journey abroad!
